Rare Air of AC Milan Dressing Room

Recently saw this youtube video of several fans visiting the AC Milan dressing rooms. It looked amazing! and I'm not a Milanista! Lance Armstrong mentioned in one of his books that he didn't need to win any additional Tours after winning the first one but it was the special experiences like team dinners & celebrations that we're the treasures of putting out that extraordinary effort.

Dramatic Scenario? Yes. Being Prepared? Smart

I recently read an article by an Argentinian author who tells of his experience during the 2001 Economic crash in Argentina, which saw the government confiscate citizen's funds in their personal & commercial bank accounts, creating widespread panic that lead to a run on water and food, as well as dramatic crime in the streets.

The scenario would be hard to imagine in North America but it is a good tale of what can occur when survival is realistically threatened & desperation takes place in a society. He gives good tips on how one could be prepared with basics, like water, provisions & social networks.

This last point, social networks, impacted me the most because, regardless of political or economical climate one lives in, social connections are the answer to food, work, travel, health, etc. Like Ferfal underlines, it can't be done alone. Very true.

Documentary The Gig is Up: Money, the Federal Reserve & You by Gary Fielder

Gary Fielder presents at the University of Colorado School of Law, discussing how to undertand money, the history of money within the United States through the last several centuries and the controversy of the Federal Reserve controling current American fiscal policy.

Why care about American monetary issues when we're Canadian? Being America's number #1 exporting partner, worth $261 Billion worth of exports for the States (cnbc video data 13/11/09), the American monetary issue has dramatically intertwined implications up north.

COMMERCIAL LOAN DEFAULTS LARGE POTENTIAL RISK TO BANKING SYSTEM IN US FOR 2010

Reading an interesting article on CNBC.com on the risk that Commercial Real Estate Loan defaults may create for the US banking system for 2010. This has been a common theme in various articles & discussions that I have come across, including a book called 'The Great Depression Ahead' by Harry Dent JR. Sounds pessimistic despite the moderate rally that the US & world economies seem to be experiencing. Could this be a legitimate danger ahead?
