Digital Media - The Television Experience

As we're seeing it increasingly snowball, media companies are moving more content, specifically television content, onto the internet. The iTunes store has really become the catalyst for this movement of purchasing and downloading tv shows from the large broadcasters, as detailed in this Yahoo article, picked up from Reuters today. We are seeing the evolution of the Internet as on demand Television.

Bono & The Gates Family - Time Magazine's Persons of 2005

To see Celebrities, whether from Film, Politics, Royal Descent, Sports, etc., use their fame to conduce attention to human causes and overall good is truly inspiring and heroic. Time Magazine have chosen Bill and Melinda Gates, along with U2 frontman Bono, as Persons of the year for 2005. CBC.ca has a nice review on the article. The TV Content Digitization Trend

Reuters reports NBC is now offering shows via iTunes. Television networks are placing their content online in addition to their regular air times to accomodate users who hop online to catch the programming at their own time.
