Happy New Years 2009!

Wishing all my family, friends, colleagues and acquantainces a glorious 2009, full of health, happiness and prosperity!

In retrospect, 2008 had all kinds of highlights, events and emotions, at various levels. Liberal American Senator from Illinois, Barrack Obama, was elected President of the United States in November, and will be inaugurated shortly, on January 20th, bringing new hope in democracy and politics.

The world economic financial crisis in September/October 2008 was truly a historical event, that we are still in the process of emerging from. In Canada, we had an early election in October, and we are now dealing with a frozen parliament, where we'll need to go back to the polls to vote in a majority government. Sad state of politics in Canada at the moment.

On a personal note, 2008 had memorable travel in Canada, US, Italy & Spain. Working with a public company in the stock market has been quite the view & education this year, not to mention easily one to remember. Health issues arose at the beginning of the year, concerning but now tamed, as well as a special landmark birthday for special members in my immediate family. 2008 also brought new friends and acquantainces that have been rewarding additions to one's life. Technology wise, my Apple iPhone is a total spectacle and in the words of Morris, Star Trek days are here. In the world of sports, Spain won the European Cup for the second time in their history and we partied! The Canucks picked up Sundin in December and now seem to be contenders for the Cup.

Two words that were special for me this year were details and preparation.

2009 brings several anticipated events, inluding travel in April, potential work transition, various objectives and my 30th birthday in October. Looking forward to another year of eager learning, growth, and evolution in many areas of life, with the hope of successful application and rewards.

Again, Happy New Year 2009 to you and your loved ones....

Continued Success & Warmest Regards,

Ferruccio F. Susin
